Touch someone’s life. Help those in need. Grow as a person and as a citizen of the world. Volunteer in Ghana.

There are a number of different capacities in which you can volunteer. You can teach, you can volunteer in a medical setting, you can work at an orphanage. We place our volunteers based on their interests and backgrounds as well as the need in the local community. Training is provided upon arrival. Volunteers will be placed with a host family.

Currently, we have the following assignments that need to be filled.

Name of the organization: Nkamfoa KG Primary and Junior High School.
What does the organization do? Educational establishment.
What type of duties/assignments would the volunteer perform? Teaching of ICT*.
What qualifications and/or education would a volunteer need? Knowledge in ICT.
When would the assignment commence and when would it end? All year round based on the academic calendar.
Additional comments (if any): We need recreational facilities for the nursery pupils, as well as books, toys, stickers, etc.

Name of the organization: Abura EduKrom District Assembly Basic School.
What does the organization do? Educational establishment.
What type of duties/assignments would the volunteer perform? Teaching of ICT*.
What qualifications and/or education would a volunteer need? Knowledge in ICT.
When would the assignment commence and when would it end? All year round based on the academic calendar.
Additional comments (if any): Need computers from Philanthropic organizations.

Name of the organization: Falahiya Islamic School.
What does the organization do? Teaching and Learning – Basic Education.
What type of duties/assignments would a volunteer perform? Teaching of ICT, assisting teachers with marking of class exercises and helping with home work, giving lectures on vital topics such as drug abuse, teenage pregnancy and STD’s.
What qualifications and/or education would a volunteer need? Knowledge in ICT* and general knowledge.
When would the assignment commence and when would it end? All year round based on the academic calendar.
Additional comments (if any): We lack computers to teach ICT.

Name of the organization: Ghana Health Service.
What does the organization do? Provide general health care.
What type of duties/assignments would the volunteer perform? Checking of vital signs, health education, help in tidying of units, help in dressing, other patient care.
What qualifications and/or education would a volunteer need? Student nurses and nurses.
When would the assignment commence and when would it end? As soon as possible and help is needed all year round, as long as volunteer can stay.

Name of the organization: Jesus is King Orphanage
What does the organization do? Takes care of poor, needy, and abandoned children without parental care and love.
What type of duties/assignments would the volunteer perform? Assist in bathing children, taking them to school, assisting with homework, telling them stories in the evening, general care.
What qualifications and/or education would a volunteer need? Needs volunteers irrespective of their educational background.
When would the assignment commence and when would it end? As soon as possible and for any length of time depending on the volunteer's priorities.
