Volunteer

There are a number of different capacities in which you can volunteer. Opportunities include but are not limited to:

• Teaching in a primary school (subjects can include Math, Science, English or ICT*)
• Providing patient care in a medical clinic or hospital
• Providing midwifery service and maternal care
• Childcare in an orphanage
• Helping in a library
• Community development projects
• Work with and train staff in the hospitality industry, e.g. hotels, restaurants

We place our volunteers based on their interests and backgrounds as well as the needs of the local community. Training is provided upon arrival and volunteers will be placed with a host family.

When filling out your application, please mention what you are interested in doing in Ghana, what sort of field you want to work in and what areas you have experience in. There is need for help all over Ghana and we can tailor your assignment to work best for you as well as the recipient of your assistance.
